Bands who played in 2008

Zombina and the Skeletones have been playing since 1998 & released their first album in 2003, titled 'Taste the Blood of Zombina and the Skeletones' . Since then they have released 'Monsters on 45' in 2006, which is a compiled trilogy of 7" singles.Their next album 'Death Valley High' was released the same year.
"As a live band they're the bloodiest and most funnest cult experience you can have short of sacrificing yourself to some goat headed deity in the woods on St. Swithens Night."

The Screaming Banshee Aircrew are dedicated to delivering their best both live and in the studio. "The band are dedicated to delivering only the best in both the studio and the live show, using their own unique raw punky style."
Misery of Sound stalwarts, they have played many gigs and festivals and have joined such bands as the March Violets, The Last Dance, the Cruxshadows, to name a few.
"The Aircrew continue to astound and astonish audiences of all ages and all tastes with their infectious energy."
Sounds Like: "TrashVogue Artrock with scissors, crayons and beer".....
Eyaculacion Post Mortem's unique mix of Goth-Punk-Electronica ensure the band make an impression on their audience. EPM are from Barcelona, Spain and have played various gigs around the resort. They also appeared at the last Drop Dead Festival in Portugal in October 08.
Sounds Like: Zombina and The Skeletones have been likened to EPM.
Since 2005 Pink Hearse have carved and mutilated their own sound mixing Old Skool Punk influences and catchy guitar hooks,with aspects of Horrorpunk and Psychobilly creeping and crawling into their music and lyrics.The band appeal to a wide audience and have supported such acts as: The Epoxies, The Meteors, Zombina and the Skeletones,Vice Squad, Bella Morte and 999.
Pink Hearse have also played the likes of the Rebellion Punk Festival, Woolstock. They have often been compared to the likes of a female Dead Kennedys, The Horrorpops, Siouxie Sou, The Merry Widows and the Slits.
David & Sol formed spanish band The Eternal Fall in 2001.They have played at various festivals and had their first gig at the Directo Jazz Bar, Alicante, Spain.The Eternal Fall have played with Nosferatu, Charlotte Shadows, Vendemmian, Naught Zombies, SBA, to name a few.They have also played in Madrid supporting Diary of Dreams, and they made their Misery of Sound debut in 2007.
Influences Include: Fields of the Nephilim, Bauhaus, The Cure, Joy Division.
The Cemetary Girlz are from Paris, France & formed in 2006 by DJ Alien S Pagan.
"We Just Want To Make Music, For Transmit Our Feelings, Our More Dark Things, Our Love, Our Hate... We love music for itself, we're not interested in making money or to be famous and get on MTV " - Alien S Pagan. They made their UK debut at Mis-Fest 08.
Sounds Like: A mixture of Coldwave, Post Punk, Gothic, Deathrock, Batcave.
UFX were born from Uncle Fester and formed by Ratfink (previously of Alien Sex Fiend) Johnny Volume and DunkRock in the 90's.Their line up was complete when Chad Spandosa replaced Doc Virus on bass in 2000, and their "High Fuelled Punk Rock n Roll" is still in force today.
Influences span from: 60s & 70s garage rock & punk. Including bands like: MC5, The Stooges, Heartbreakers, Motorhead, The Sex Pistols to 80s/90s bands like Supersuckers, and Rocket from the Crypt.
Danse of the Dead were formed on Halloween 2004 by Mr Wyrd and Benjamin.
"A definite unique sound with fast flowing lyrics. Theatrical, wild and methodical, a band with a plan, and an image that could take them far.” – blackpoolbands.co.uk. Following an adventurous tour from John O' Groats to Lands End, DOTD have done various newspaper interviews and also airplay on BBC Lancashire and BCC Hereford & Worcaster.
Sounds Like: Gothic Folk, Gypsy Punk.
